The United States continues to be a major driver of business jet demand. While activity in March is slightly below last year's levels, it remains significantly higher than 2019. Florida is a hotspot for Super Midsize activity, with an 8% increase compared to last year.

Rest of World Sees Strong Gains

Business jet demand is booming outside of Europe and the US. The Middle East shows a 9% increase compared to 2023, fueled by strong growth in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

However, the biggest growth is coming from Asia. Departures from India and China are up a staggering 92% and 126% respectively compared to last year.

Looking Ahead

The business jet industry appears to be on a healthy trajectory in 2024. With continued growth in South America and Asia, the global market is poised to surpass pre-pandemic levels. The rise of Super Midsize jets and the increasing popularity of fractional ownership programs are interesting trends to watch in the US market. While Europe is experiencing a slight slowdown, the overall outlook for business aviation remains positive.
