G700 vs Falcon 10X

The Latest to the group of ultra-long-range Business Jets let you travel intercontinental, opening possibilities in business and personal travel. Key new models in this aircraft market include Bombardier Global 7500 entered in service in 2018, Gulfstream Flagship G700 will follow in late 2022 and Dassault Falcon launched its 10X with innovation and widest cabin in the category, giving a leg up on its counterparts.

The Falcon 10X and Gulfstream G700 are mostly to be used as intercontinental haul aircraft by businesses, corporations, and governments to travel around the world. To illustrate, Qatar Executive and FlexJet have placed orders for a total of 26 Gulfstream G700, to begin delivery in 2022.

As a traveler you might notice a subtle difference between these two aircraft; However several factors are driving the demand for ultra-long-range aircraft, whose prices are estimated at $75 million. The two biggest contributors are the continuing globalization of international business and the growth in the number of ultrahigh net worth families. The Gulfstream G700 is currently on schedule with non-stop flight tests and certification to fulfill its first orders in late 2022. Low Wing design, swept-back wings with a wingspan of 103 feet, and canted winglets to decrease turbulence at the tip of the wing. Technology is a must component nowadays; Gulfstream added Honeywell Symmetry Flight Deck with active control sidesticks, touch screen controllers, and Dual Head-Up Displays among other features to related comfort.

G700 Cabin is 56 feet 11 inches in length, the width of 8 feet 2 inches, and the height 6 feet 5 inches. Its baggage compartment has a storage volume of 195 cubic feet.

The Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 has a maximum thrust of 18,250 lbf per engine to provide G700 capability to fly at a cruising speed of 595 knots, range of 7500 nautical miles, and a service ceiling of 51,000 feet. Its take-off and landing distances are 6250 ft and 2500 ft respectively.

Dassault Falcon 10X

In May 2021, The French Manufacturer Dassault Falcon introduced the latest

10X during its YouTube Channel Launch with CEO, Eric Trappier.

The Falcon 10X Team has optimized every aspect of the aircraft with the passenger in mind. The cabin includes a length of 53 feet and 10 inches, a width of 9 feet 1 inch, a height of 6 feet and 8 inches, and 38 windows across to ensure it receives inbound light.

Falcon 10X is going mano a mano against its current competitor of business Jet, Gulfstream Aerospace, sharing the same maximum speed of Mach 0.925 with two designed engines Rolls-Royce Pearl, the most efficient engine core among the industry with brand new four-stage, low pressure high efficient system. Also improved in fly-by-wire technology.

which in addition to making flights as smooth as possible, power control for maximum efficiency, especially flying in inclement weather. Flight Deck is a touch screen, cockpit seats fully recline into a flatbed for pilots to rest, while the other pilot flies the airplane.

Range of 7500 nautical miles, and a service ceiling of 51,000 feet. Its take-off MTOW is 6000 feet and requires less than 2500 feet of runway. The 10X will be able to operate in smaller airports where larger aircraft typically cannot operate.

The 10X is designed with composite wings, allowing low-speed steep approach capability complemented by the FalconEye, to achieve safely at low-speed performance.

Dassault Falcon 10X is anticipated to enter service at the end of 2025.
